Although this is a personal integration, I owe a great debt of gratitude to the many others who have journeyed with me over the past couple of decades and made the travelling such a joyful and powerful learning experience. Some of them are listed here.
Carol MacKinnon
Carol is a soul sister of many years, a brilliant coach and facilitator. She has played a major role in the development and facilitation of everything here. She is a consistent loyal partner on my many adventures without whom none of this would be possible. I am forever grateful for her friendship.
Dan is a fellow coach who asked me to join him in developing New Edges many years ago. We have collaborated on building community, hosting events, and framing ideas. I value him greatly for his wisdom and curiosity. He is a generous friend who has transformed my life.
Amy is a relatively new friend who joined with me in my work with dying, co-facilitating many Dying to Live sessions. She has become a close friend and colleague, and an instigator in the Weaving the Web workshops. She is a beautiful spirit.
Sue Griggs
Sue is my longstanding friend from schooldays and my trusted advisor. She began The Coaching Project with me and Valerie Davis and has been a supporter of my work throughout my many journeys, offering deep insights that challenge me to be a better person. She is a wise elder and holds a special place in my heart.
Carol Tornow
Carol’s friendship was an exceptional gift during my years in the southwest. She contributed significantly to the development of the New Edges community. Although we are now separated by distance, we continue to paint and participate in lacing our lives together.
Charles is an extraordinary connector and facilitator working at many scales on mobilizing awareness-based futures. He developed and ran the One World Dialogues with Carol and me, the beginning of my creating conversation circles devoted to change.
Carol Thatcher
Carol is an enthusiastic participant in life and its challenging issues. She encouraged me to extend my work with dying and became a facilitator of The Art of Dying workshops. She supported me at a time when I was in darkness and I will be forever grateful.
Sabina Harpe
Sabina has been a steadfast friend and supporter since I met her shortly after arriving in Vancouver, encouraging me, connecting me with others, engaging in projects and sharing my work with her network.
Sharon Halfnight
Sharon is a kindred spirit who developed the Weaving the Web workshops with Amy and me. She is a thoughtful creative colleague and artist who has supported my work in many ways.
David Gibson
David is a business coach and tech whiz. He was responsible for creating Becoming a Leader Coach, a series of videos that put our Leader Coach workshop online and made it widely available.
Gloria Sutcliffe
Gloria has recently joined Carol and me in facilitating a conversation circle on racial injustice. She has contributed an unwavering support to my ventures and a thoughtful presence to our work.
Laurie attended our Healing our Broken World workshop last fall and was inspired to facilitate a group of her own with a friend. It is wonderful to have the ripples of this work spread.
Meguido Zola
Meguido was the third facilitator in the Simon Fraser University Certificate in Professional Coaching with Carol and me. He added a vast knowledge of the university and a grounded wisdom to the program.
